Prosecure Door Hinge
The ProSecure Hinge for Composite Doors is built for robust performance, offering superior security and adjustability. It provides lateral (+/-5mm), vertical (+4mm), and compression (+/-1mm) adjustments, all of which can be easily made without needing to remove the door leaf. The hinge incorporates a strong steel hinge pin secured with a security grub screw to enhance stability. It also features a captive sash retaining screw, which simplifies installation. With corrosion resistance tested to BSEN 1670 Grade 5, the ProSecure hinge supports sash weights of up to 80kg when fitted with three hinges. The hinge meets the stringent requirements of PAS 24 and Secured by Design, making it a reliable choice for enhancing the security of composite doors.
Static cling TechTape protects the hinge lid during installation.
Rubber tongue prevents the hinge lid from closing during transit and until installation is complete.
Two installation options: Lift-on using Glider technology or front-fit by removing the steel hinge pin.
Virtually jigless; only two holes to pre-drill.
